Surreal: (adjective) having the disorienting, hallucinatory quality of a dream; unreal; fantastic."Surreal" is probably the best adjective that I can think of to describe my most recent adventure. After several years of "one of these days....." my oldest daughter Melissa and I finally broke down and went skydiving. Yes I know it was tandem with a professional but bottom line, you still have to walk over to an open door and jump out a perfectly good airplane at 14,000 feet. I know now what the term "adrenaline junkie" means. It was. fantastic, terrifying and addictive all at the same time. ... and I'm doing it again this summer with both my girls this time.
